Common questions
How does PayGhanti detect payments?
PayGhanti reads payment notifications from your banking, UPI, and default messaging apps via Android Notification Access, matches them against known bank/UPI templates, then announces the amount aloud.
Is PayGhanti free?
Yes. Free includes ads and 10 spoken payment amounts per day. Premium unlocks unlimited spoken amounts and removes ads.
Is my notification data sent to Trei?
Notification parsing stays on-device. PayGhanti sends only hashed quota identifiers and count metadata; notification content, amount, sender, and message are never uploaded.
Which banks and UPI apps are supported?
Most major Indian banks and UPI apps are supported out of the box. Custom templates can be added.
Does it drain my battery?
PayGhanti is event-driven - it only activates when a matching payment notification arrives, so idle battery use is negligible.
