By downloading, installing, or using SMS Forwarder ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be 18 or older.

1. Purpose

SMS Forwarder lets you create rules that forward text messages, and if you enable them notifications and call alerts, received on your own Android phone to an email address, Telegram, a webhook URL or another Android phone that you own. It is meant for personal use and legitimate business notification workflows that you control.

2. Your Responsibility

You agree to:

• Use the app only on a device and phone number you own or are authorized to manage.
• Forward messages only to destinations you control or have permission to use.
• Comply with applicable laws, carrier rules, workplace policies, and platform policies.
• Not use the app to spy on another person, intercept messages without consent, commit fraud, or bypass security controls.
• Protect sensitive messages such as OTPs, banking alerts, passwords, and authorization messages.

3. Permissions

The Google Play version asks to receive SMS (RECEIVE_SMS) on your device. It also offers optional notification access, optional contacts access to show names, notifications, and the camera for scanning a pairing QR code. If you deny or revoke a permission, the related forwarding stops. Android controls these permissions. The Google Play version cannot send text messages and cannot read your SMS inbox or call log.

4. Free Plan and Premium

The app is free to use with ads on some screens and limits on rules and daily relayed forwards through Trei servers. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Google Play, with a free trial when offered. Premium unlocks unlimited rules, a higher relayed-forward limit under fair use, notification and call sources, regex filters and templates, active hours, app lock, rule export and import, and removes ads. The price, billing period and trial length are shown in the app before you subscribe. You can cancel any time in Google Play subscription settings, and access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Sensitive Messages and Scams

Forwarding OTP, banking, password, or authorization messages can expose accounts to risk. OTP forwarding is blocked by default. If you enable it, you accept responsibility for the destination and any consequences. Anyone who asks you to install an SMS forwarding app, especially during a call, is likely attempting fraud.

6. Delivery

Forwarding depends on your network, battery and background restrictions, permissions, and third-party services such as email, Telegram and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Delivery can be delayed or fail. Standard carrier and data charges from your mobile plan may apply.

7. No Hidden Importing

SMS Forwarder does not import SMS messages from other phones or from before you installed it. It works only with messages received on the Android device running the app.

8. Direct APK

A separate APK available only from trei.dev can also forward messages to a phone number as a normal text message. That extra feature is not part of the Google Play version. Carrier SMS charges apply to those messages.

9. Availability

The app is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted forwarding, delivery, or compatibility with every Android device, carrier, battery manager, or system version. We may change limits, features and pricing, and may suspend access that abuses the relay or breaks these terms.

10. Privacy

Data handling is described in the SMS Forwarder Privacy Policy. By using the app, you agree to that policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms when the app, permissions, store requirements, or support process changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
