Common questions
How does msync work?
Pair two devices with a QR code; msync then keeps a shared folder in sync in the background.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All transfers are end-to-end encrypted; we cannot read your content even if it passes through our relay.
Do I need an account?
Only for internet-wide sync. Local network sync works without any account.
Is msync free?
Yes. Sync, pairing, transfer, and playback features stay available on the free tier; Premium removes ads.
What platforms are supported?
Android and iOS at launch. Desktop follows.
