Privacy Policy
Sanjay Gangwar ("we", "us", "the developer") built Arrow Escape as a free Android game. This privacy policy explains what data the app handles and which third-party services it uses.
The short version: Arrow Escape has no accounts and stores your game progress locally on your device. It shows ads through Google AdMob, can fall back to Meta/Facebook Audience Network where configured, uses RevenueCat for optional remove-ads entitlement status, and sends limited app health and analytics events to Trei services. We do not sell your data.
Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores the following locally, in Android's standard app storage. It never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app:
- Current level and number of levels solved — your progress.
- Theme preference — light / dark / system.
- Ad-frequency counter — used to space out ads.
Data Collected by Third-Party Services
Arrow Escape itself does not collect personal data on our servers. However, the following third-party services it integrates may collect data, governed by their own privacy policies:
-
Google AdMob — serves the ads that keep the game free. AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier (the app declares the
AD_IDpermission) and collect device and ad-interaction data to deliver and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use our services. - Meta/Facebook Audience Network — may serve as a fallback ad network after AdMob is unavailable or fails to load where the app build and platform support it.
- RevenueCat — manages optional Premium entitlement status for remove-ads purchases and restores. Purchase processing is handled by Apple or Google.
- Trei feedback API — if you send feedback, the app passes app context such as app id, platform, version, build, and source to the shared feedback form.
- Google Play Games Services — optional. If you sign in, your Google Play Games profile and achievements are handled by Google to record and display achievements (including in the Play Games Sidekick overlay). The game is fully playable without signing in. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Network Requests
On launch the app can fetch public configuration, send masked app analytics, and report client issues to Trei services. Gameplay remains local; these requests do not upload your score or board history.
Permissions and Why We Need Them
- Internet — required to load ads, feedback, purchases, update/config checks, analytics, and client issue reports.
- Advertising ID (
AD_ID) — used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit this identifier from Android system settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads).
Removing Ads
A Premium subscription is available to remove ads. No puzzle feature is gated behind Premium.
Children's Privacy
Arrow Escape is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the app shows ads, we encourage parents to supervise younger players. Ad behaviour is governed by Google AdMob's policies.
Data Security
Game data stays on your device, protected by Android's app sandboxing. Data handled by Google AdMob, Meta/Facebook Audience Network, RevenueCat, Google Play Games Services, and Trei services is governed by those services' policies and infrastructure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when features change (for example, adding a subscription). Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
